How contest information is used

Registration

Names, email addresses, and phone numbers are used by contest organizers to verify and manage an entry. They are not displayed publicly. Approved display names, addresses, descriptions, schedules, map locations, and photographs taken by the contest organizer are published so neighbors can visit participating homes.

Voting

No resident account is required. The site stores a random browser identifier and a one-way network-address hash to limit repeat voting. Public vote totals remain hidden until organizers publish the results.

Retention

Contest information is used only to operate Ranchos community events. Contact information is not sold. To request a correction or removal, contact michael@jzlightshow.com.
